This is another set that was in last year's catalog, and I kept putting off ordering it. Luckily, just in time for a request for masculine cards, I received my Wetlands set via my wonderful UPS driver. Don't you just love UPS? They only bring things you've asked for, and usually it's pretty good stuff.
I've seen lots of cards on the Internet using this image on a tag or as the focal point. However, the tag topper idea came directly from Julie Davison. I have followed her blog for years, and I really like her clean and simple style...keeping in mind that clean and simple, in my opinion, can be trickier to pull off than lavishly embellished cards. Be sure to stop by Julie's Stamping Spot and check out her beautiful work!
Here's everything I used:
Itty Bitty Banners
Early Espresso Card Stock
8-1/2x5-1/2 Card Base
Scrap for Tag Topper
Mossy Meadow Card Stock
3-3/4x5 Embossed Layer
Naturals Ivory Card Stock
Scrap for Banner
Early Espresso Marker
Mossy Meadow Marker
Hello Honey Stamp Pad (stamped off once before stamping on the main image)
Ticket Duo Builder Punch (folded in half for the tag topper)
1/16" Circle Punch
Bitty Banners Framelits
Houndstooth Embossing Folder (retired, but Argyle folder would also work)
