More Wetlands

So, this kind of water coloring I can handle!  I heat embossed the birds and the birthday greeting with Early Espresso embossing powder on watercolor paper.  Next, I used my aqua painter and ink from the lids of my stamp pads to create the background.  It doesn't get any easier than that!

To step it up a notch, I decided to add some ribbon and a button.  Since this card is intended to be for a guy (but really I think it could be for girls as well), I used a Basic Metal Button and a small piece of Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon.  That's about as masculine as you can get with ribbon and buttons!

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Wetlands
Create A Cupcake (Greeting)

Paper:
Lost Lagoon Card Stock
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Crumb Cake Card Stock
     4-1/2x3 Large Layer
Early Espresso Card Stock
     4-1/4x2-3/4 Layer
Watercolor Paper
     4-1/4x2-1/2 Main Image

Ink:
Lost Lagoon Stamp Pad
Crumb Cake Stamp Pad
Versamark Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Chevron Embossing Folder
Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon
Basic Metal Buttons
Linen Thread
Early Espresso Embossing Powder
Embossing Buddy and Heat Tool
Glue Dots (Button)
Stampin Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
