Paper Pumpkin Twist

The August My Paper Pumpkin kit was really cute.  I especially liked the laser-cut words, so I decided to see if I could re-create the look with my Silhouette Cameo.

I placed a piece of black card stock behind one of the card panels from the PP kit and scanned the image. From there, it was pretty simple to convert the image to a cut file.  If you'd like more details, I'll be happy to help.

Instead of a solid panel, I decided to go with a piece of patterned paper from the Moonlight DSP stack.  I used one of the stamps from the kit and wouldn't you know, it works perfectly with the Bitty Banners framelits.  I bet someone planned it that way. :)

Here's everything I used:

Paper Dimensions
Lost Lagoon Card Stock
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Whisper White Card Stock
     Scrap for Greeting
Silver Foil Sheets
Scraps for Greeting Layer & Stars
Moonlight DSP Stack
5-1/8x3-7/8 Finished Size (I cut the word out using a full sheet...4-1/2x6-1/2)
     5x2-1/2 Layer Behind Word

Product List

In addition, I used the stamps from the August My Paper Pumpkin Kit and my Silhouette Cameo.

Thanks for stopping by,
