Festival of Trees Gift Card Holder

Along with the treat bags in my last post, Ben's teachers and assistants will be receiving gift cards. The Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Die made it very easy and quick to whip out a stack of envelopes.  I used some paper that I had left over from last year to make them.

To hold the flap in the back closed, I wound the baker's twine around the envelope.  I also added a tag on the back instead of the front for something different.

The inside of the envelope has a little insert to make it just a little more personal. The gift card goes behind the insert, and I just use a fine point Sharpie to write the amount of the gift card directly on it.

I saw the idea for the insert in this video.  I'll be adding these from now on.

Here's everything I used:

Paper Dimensions:
Season of Style DSP (Retired)
     6x6 for the Envelope
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
     3-3/4x2-5/8 Backing
3x3 for Circle (which is 2" finished size)
Whisper White Card Stock
     3-1/2x2-3/8 Stamped Layer
     2x3 Tree
     Scrap for Tag

Product List:

Retired Items:  Season of Style DSP and Snowburst EF.  You could easily substitute the paper and embossing folder to get a similar look.

Thanks for stopping by,
