Favorite Sale-A-Bration Product

My favorite Sale-A-Bration product is the Lotus Blossom stamp set.  Sale-A-Bration starts this Tuesday, January 6.  For every $50 you spend, you can select a free SAB product like this beauty.

The flower is stamped using three separate images.  Since the stamps are photopolymer, placement is very easy.  Plus, the stamps are numbered so you'll know which one to use first.  It really does make a difference.  The suggested method is to start with the darker color and go to the lightest.  I had to try it the other way around, but I found that it wasn't as easy to line up.  (By the way, I stamped the stem upside down. Oops.)

This flower was made by stamping these colors in the following order:

1)  Lost Lagoon
2)  Pool Party
3)  Soft Sky

You can also get some very pretty combinations by using just a couple of inks and stamping off.  I've been playing around a lot with different color combinations, and I'll be sharing more of those in the days ahead.

Here's everything I used:

Paper Dimensions:
Crumb Cake Card Stock
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Lost Lagoon Card Stock
     5-1/8x3-7/8 Large Layer
Whisper White Card Stock
5-1/8x3-7/8 Stitched Layer (finished size is 4-7/8x3-5/8)

    1. I'm glad you like it, Elisha. I used the larger hole on my Crop-A-Dile to punch through the white and blue layers. The ribbon is wrapped around the left side. The other side is just tucked through the hole and secured on the back with adhesive. Pretty simple! I finished it off by tying the linen thread bow to the side. Hope that helps!
