Painted Petals Birthday

I knew I wanted to use my Painted Petals stamp set, but I needed a starting point.  I went to my favorite sketch blog - Freshly Made Sketches - and found this sketch which had the perfect size focal point:

The background was made with the Something Lacy background stamp.  I first stamped it in Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I was able to get a really good image with the Versamark because I used my MISTI and was able to stamp the image 3 times. Be sure your Versamark ink pad is well inked for best results.
