Painted Petals Note Cards

I'm really enjoying my photopolymer Painted Petals stamp set.  I spent some time Sunday afternoon making several sets of note cards.

The beauty of just using our note cards is that 1) they're nice and thick (thicker than our Whisper White card stock, 2) they're pre-scored and 3) they come with envelopes.  I love using a single-layer white card because I can use any color ink that I want to,  So, when Strawberry Slush retires in a few months (insert sad face here), I can still create cards with it even if I can't get the coordinating card stock.

Here's another version of the card using Rich Razzleberry ink.  I used my MISTI and was able to make 3 sets of note cards in no time!

The "hello" on this card is from the Label Something stamp set.  The stamp image looks like this:

I used my MISTI to help make sure the word was straight, and then I inked just the "hello" with a marker.  One of the many things I like about my MISTI is that if I miss part of a letter, no problem. Just re-ink that part of the stamp with my marker, stamp again and you have perfect coverage.

No cutting!  Everything is already done for you with the note cards.
