White Christmas in Red, White and Silver

I bought this set last year, and it never saw any ink.  I really wanted to use it for a card buffet, so the design needed to be simple without a lot of coloring.

Tips:

  • Use Tear and Tape or Scor-Tape (I used Scor-Tape because I have some that's 1/8" wide) to adhere the glimmer paper strips.
  • Add a glue dot behind the bow to keep it in place.
  • Save some stamping time by placing the tree stamp and the greeting on one large block.  The bird and snowman can also be stamped at the same time. I actually used my MISTI which made it pretty easy.
  • The fine tip of our markers tend to dry out faster than the brush tip.  For a quick fix, squeeze some ink on the the lid of a stamp pad that's the same color.  Dip the fine tip in the ink and you'll get just enough to fill in tiny areas like these.
