CASE'd Valentine's Day Card

Inspiration:  A special "thank you" to Karen for sharing her talent with this great card.  My layout is like hers, but I changed up the colors so I could use the new Love Blossoms DSP.  I also changed out the greeting since I didn't have the set she used.

  • To get the right spacing for the hearts, I started with a 5-1/4x4 inch piece of Whisper White card stock. I adhered the hearts on each side of the bottom row first.  By starting with the 5-1/4x4 inch piece of card stock, I was able to line up the center of the hearts with the edge of the paper and then cut off the extra half heart on each side.  Then, it was a matter of spacing the two hearts in the center equally apart and adding the top row.  Once all the hearts were in place, I used my paper trimmer to trim off 1/8 inch from each side and 1/4 inch from the top.  The finished size of the card front is 5x3-3/4 inches.
  • The center heart on the top row is popped up with a dimensional as is the greeting.
  • Play around with different paper patterns/colors to find the heart layout that you really like.
