Masculine Birthday Card CASE

Inspiration:  I came across this card by Peggy on Pinterest and couldn't get it out of the back of my mind.  I finally had a chance to pull together a version of her card using the supplies I have on hand. I'm looking forward to trying out this same layout with a girly card!

Tips:
  • I used Tombow Multipurpose Glue to adhere the word "happy."  It only takes a few tiny (and I mean tiny) drops here and there on each letter to stick really well.  The tricky part for me was not letting it slide on the card when I was laying it down which makes a sticky card because the glue is exposed.  I found that by holding the die cut with both hands, I could lay it straight down and therefore avoid the glue mess.
  • The birthday banner was stamped twice.  I cut the middle section out of one of the stamped images and popped it up with dimensionals.
