Christmas in July

Inspiration:  This card is a result of seeing this tag on Pinterest.  Why am I making a Christmas card in July?  I'm working on the cards for my next card buffet which will be at the end of August.  In order for my stampers to stock up on their Christmas cards, I'll offer one Christmas card option for the next several card buffets....and this is the one for August.  I have some Merry Moments DSP from the last Holiday Catalog that hasn't seen any love as well as a full pack of Mossy Meadow card stock.  I'm happy to have found the perfect use for them.

  • Use the tree framelit to cut a green tree and a red tree.  Run the green tree back through with the "dots" framelit to make the ornaments.  Layer the two trees together.
  • I used a 1/8" circle punch to punch the gold glimmer paper ornaments, but I think for the card buffet I'll use the the "dots" framelit so I can cut more at a time.
  • The bow and star are adhered with glue dots.
  • The tag is popped up with dimensionals.
