Botanical Builder Birthday CASE

Inspiration:  One of my stamping friends sent this pin to me, so I thought I'd make one like it for her birthday.  I intended to completely CASE Connie's beautiful card without changing anything...and then I goofed and had to cut down my card front to just a layer.  I'm actually pretty happy with the end result since at least now I feel like I've given it a little bit of my own touch.

Tips:
  • Be sure to stamp your greeting before embossing the white piece.
  • The center of the flower is a 1/4" circle of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper adhered with a glue dot.  I like to use glimmer paper for flower centers because it makes the card very flat/mailable.
  • Cut the leaves off just above the bottom leaves to make them a little easier to work with.  Lay them out on the card and then use cellophane tape to hold the ends in place.  Next, add just a tiny bit of multipurpose glue on back of each stem in the center to give them a little more stability.
