Simple Star of Light Christmas Card

Inspiration:  I needed a quick Christmas card that wasn't red and green, so I decided to start with the Star of Light Stamp Set and coordinating Starlight Thinlits.  I love that the words both look beautiful and have special meaning.

Tips:
  • To make sure your stamped image and the coordinating die cut line up, first cut a piece of card stock using the framelit.  Then lay a clear block on top of the die cut.  Use the die cut piece as a guide to line up the stamp while you're placing it on the block.  You can also lay the stamp face down on the die cut and then lay the block on top, but I tend to get better results laying the block on the die cut piece.
  • The "swirl" was stamped twice to reach from corner to corner.
  • The large star is attached with dimensionals and the silver star is adhered with a glue dot.
  • It's hard to see in the picture, but a rhinestone is in the middle of the star.
