Bright Balloon Adventures

This is the card I made for my nephew using the Balloon Adventures bundle. I'm so surprised it's on the retiring list! Usually I try to clear out retired items, but I'm going to be holding onto this stamp set and thinlits for awhile. If you haven't purchased them yet, it's less expensive to purchase the stamp set and thinlits separately ($42.50) vs. the bundle ($53.00) because the thinlits are on sale.

Tips:
  • The middle part of the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits is the base for the main image. The layered balloons cover up the cut edges.
  • I punched out white balloons to use behind the die cut balloons (love the coordination with the Balloon Bouquet Punch...again, why is this bundle retiring??).
  • The Party Animal DSP is, well, very bright so I softened it a little with a piece of vellum down the center. The vellum also helps the balloons to not get lost in the background.
