First Beautiful You Card

So I'm not sure life has settled down that much, but fortunately I've at least had a little time to stamp recently. This is my first Beautiful You card, and it was a lot of fun to make.

  • Ordinarily I don't really like to watercolor, but I saw a tip from Kay Kalthoff to use random strokes versus "coloring in" the image.  I really like how it turned out! I used a blender pen and ink from the lids of my ink pads to add the color.
  • The umbrella is paper pieced. I stamped the umbrella image on DSP, cut it out and layered it on top of my main image.
  • The greeting is attached with dimensionals.
