Baby Shower Favors

My niece (in-law's) baby shower is coming up in a few weeks, so I've been busy working on some favors along with some help from my mom. I decided to go with the tried and true covered Hershey nuggets. I used a lot of retired products for my favors, but these are so easy I'm sure you can come up with something awesome with the supplies you have on hand. This is by no means my original idea...there are tons of different ideas/directions on the internet to inspire you!

  • My milk chocolate nuggets are attached to a small tray made with a 2x3 inch piece of Flirty Flamingo CS. Score at 1/4" on the two long sides. If you want to include more nuggets in your treat, simply increase the length of the tray by 1" for each nugget. So for 5 nuggets your tray would be 2x5 inches (still scored at 1/4" on the two long sides).
  • Fold up along the scorelines to make the sides for your tray. I placed a skinny piece of Scor-tape down the center to hold the nuggets in place.
  • The nuggets are covered with 1x3 inch strips of DSP.
  • They fit nicely into a 2-1/4" wide pretzel bag. It was originally 10 inches long, but I cut it down to 6 inches with my paper trimmer. Again, you can adjust the length depending on how many nuggets.
  • The heart was punched from the Owl Builder Punch as was the duck's eye.
  • I used my MISTI to stamp multiple ducks using this technique from my previous post.
